1957 Porsche 356A Speedster

This is a very special Speedster built and owned by a true Porsche expert and enthusiast, Ab Tiedmann. This Speedster was with him from 1975 until his passing in 2019. Ab set out to build the ultimate Speedster with full 356C running gear, 741 gearbox with LSD / BBAA gears, ZF steering box, and 12 volt electrics. The Original MATCHING NUMBERS Engine, drum brake components and period gearbox are with the car and included in the sale. This incredible restoration was completed in the early 1990s on the rust-free, all-original metal tub. There are just 3,224 miles showing since the complete and full rebuild and restoration. I purchased the car from Ab's family and set out to refresh the car to today's standards. The black finish is flawless having been done by my secret Pebble Beach award-winning painter. Complete new black interior with Steve McQueen inspired seats and 718 Spyder steering wheel. The Speedster has been fully serviced with 2 sets of new Pirelli CN36 tires. In addition to the American Racing wheels, there is a set of immaculate chrome wheels. Runs, drives and operates like a dream. Please review the images.
