1969 912 Coupe
Lovely 56,000-mile Slate Grey survivor has recently been re-commissioned after a long period of storage with its second long-time owner. The 912 remains largely un-restored.
The body is very straight and features original fenders, doors, lids and bumpers. The panel fit is excellent as are the gaps. The floors and suspension pan are original, clean and free of rust. The Slate Grey paint is excellent and partially original. Parts of the car have been painted at different times however it presents with an even consistency and has a warm patina. The window frames, glass and light assemblies are exceptional. The wheels are Fuchs Deep 6” with Michelin XWX Tires. The interior is completely original with great Perlon and headliner, excellent dash, and beautiful door panels and seats.
The original matching engine has recently been fully rebuilt and detailed. NOS Mahle pistons and cylinders were used in the crank up rebuild. This 912 now runs and drives perfectly and has an iconic look in the original Slate Grey hue.
