1970 911T 2.5 Lightweight Coupe
Nearly 20 years ago a good friend bought this car. It was an original, rust-free, bone stock 911T in lovely condition with one repaint in the original color of Tangerine. He then set out to convert the car to a version of the ST. After the work was completed the car was put in storage unused until earlier this year. I did a basic clean-up and improved some of the details. The engine is a 2.5 twin plug with 46 Webers, headers, and rally muffler built by one of South Florida's finest, 915 gear box with LSD, Bilstein RSR coil over suspension with adjustable sway bars and spring plates, Real 100 liter steel tank with center fill, Outstanding ST spec interior with roll bar, Momo Prototipo with early button and original solid hub, full perlon and Repa belts over cord buckets, Fresh Weidman deep 6 Fuchs wheels in the front and 8" Minilites in the rear with new Avon tires. Cibie hood lights and Cibie Biode headlights. The body features all original panels with 8' flares properly done in the rear. The panel fit and gaps are exceptional. The paintwork is older however it is virtually unblemished and vibrant. Paint in the door jambs and under the lids is original. The trim and glass are exceptional. It starts and operates easily. It is fast, stiff, nasty, and loud as a proper Sport Eleven should be. This is an outstanding event car that we would all like to build that is ready to be enjoyed today. Ideal for the road and track. Original owner's manual and maintenance book included. All of the original parts including the OG engine are long gone and not included.
