1978 911 Fat Fender Hot Rod

The original base for this outstanding Outlaw is a 1978 930 Tub which makes the fender flares all steel and factory-installed. Color changed to Fashion Grey by John Paterek. This great build comes from the late John Campion Collection. John was a real enthusiast and spent a lot of money on this car and improvements. Power is from a twin-plug 3.5-liter engine built on a blank 930 case with Weber 46 Carbs, race headers and muffler. Groupe 4 Campagnola style wheels with Michelin race tires, GTS Classic seats, Race harnesses, fresh instruments all in a very tidy interior. Front nose mounted oil cooler, Finned 930 brakes, big torsion bars, fuel cell, fire system and on and on. Please read the article for the complete story of the original build.
