1985 Porsche 944 Playboy / Imsa Firehawk Racer

This is an original Playboy Endurance Series Showroom Stock then IMSA Firehawk car. Converted from a showroom fresh 944 and raced since new. This is said to be the first race car of Champion Porsche. Two log books filled with Daytona and Sebring and entries. Prepared and retained by Stahl Motorsports until 1997, One owner for the next 21 years after that. Car has not raced in the last 7 years. It it up and running beautifully with recent service work. Will need little work to get back on the track as well as updated safety equipment. The 44 presents very much as it raced it period. It has been through a lot for certain with the typical battle scars of an old racer. The paint and body has been done multiple times and is old race car quality with a high cool factor. 

This neat part of the Porsche story is an inexpensive way to go racing in a Historic car or would make for a fun street car. I have the two original log books with period images, 1997 Bill of Sale, the original title and a current Florida title.
